Bauxite is the primary ore of aluminium — a weathered rock rich in hydrous alumina. VAMM supplies both metallurgical-grade bauxite (Al2O3 50%+, SiO2 <6%) for the Bayer process, and refractory-grade bauxite (Al2O3 85%+) for high-temperature furnace linings.
Our Indian sourcing covers the Panchpatmali, East Coast and Gudem deposits in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. For high-volume smelter feed, we also structure parcels from Boké and Sangaredi deposits in Guinea.

Each bauxite lot is analysed for Al2O3, SiO2, Fe2O3, TiO2 and LOI before dispatch. Calcined grades include specific gravity, porosity and refractoriness testing.
International shipments are inspected at load-port by accredited surveyors — SGS, Bureau Veritas or Alex Stewart International — with corresponding discharge-port reconciliation.
