Natural calcium-magnesium carbonate lumps, sized to specification — for steel flux, glass batch, refractory manufacture and agricultural lime. MgO 18%+ consistently.
Dolomite — CaMg(CO3)2 — is the preferred flux material wherever both calcium and magnesium are needed. VAMM's dolomite is mined from the Birmitrapur belt of Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, guaranteeing MgO content of 18-22% and CaO of 28-32%.
We supply lumps at five size fractions — from 0-10mm fines for powder grinding up to 80-150mm for blast-furnace flux. Sintered dolomite (dead-burnt) is also available for refractory applications.
Movement by rake to steel plants, and by truck to cement kilns and glass batch houses.
Basic flux in blast furnaces and basic oxygen furnaces — forms slag with silica and alumina impurities.
Essential magnesium input in container and float glass — improves durability and chemical resistance.
Dead-burnt dolomite for basic refractories lining steel converters, kilns and high-temperature vessels.
Magnesium-bearing raw material in special clinker compositions and magnesium-rich Portland cement.
Magnesium-calcium soil corrector — preferred over pure limestone for Mg-deficient soils.
Decorative-stone aggregate, terrazzo chips, and architectural concrete applications.
Small-fraction feed for grinding to powder, agricultural lime and flue-gas desulphurisation.
Glass batch feed and mid-size cement kiln charge — consistent grade, easy handling.
Steel flux lumps — the workhorse grade for BOF and blast-furnace steel operations.
Direct BF-charge material — larger lumps allow gas permeability through the burden stack.
For plants that crush on-site — lowest delivered cost per tonne for bulk orders.
Sintered refractory-grade dolomite — MgO 35%+ after calcination, for basic refractories.
Every rake tested for MgO, CaO, SiO2, Fe2O3, Al2O3 and LOI before dispatch. Dead-burnt grades additionally tested for bulk density, apparent porosity and refractoriness.
Size distribution verified by sieve analysis — contracted fraction delivered ±5% by mass.
MgO 18-22% guaranteed — critical for predictable steel slag chemistry.
From 0-10mm to 80-150mm — in-house crushing and screening to your contracted size.
SiO2 under 2% on standard grades — reduces unwanted slag bulk in BOF operations.
Sintered refractory-grade dolomite available — a one-stop-shop for BOF and LD converter customers.
Mine-to-plant rail rake movements — no intermediate handling, no size degradation.
Loss-on-ignition below 45% — tighter than industry norm, less fuel burn at the kiln.
