Natural hydrous aluminium silicate — refractory-grade and industrial-grade pyrophyllite from Madhya Pradesh's Milkila deposits. For ceramics, paper, insecticide carriers and roofing.
Pyrophyllite — Al2Si4O10(OH)2 — is a soft, platy mineral closely related to talc, with exceptional thermal stability, low shrinkage and low thermal expansion. VAMM sources pyrophyllite from Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district — specifically the Milkila-Nunia belt with Al2O3 content of 28-32%.
Our range covers crude lumps, ground powders at 100, 200 and 325 mesh, and specialty micronised grades for premium applications. Colour ranges from off-white to pale green.
Supplied in 50-kg bags and 1-tonne jumbo bags — domestic rake dispatch or export containers.
Whitewares, wall tiles, sanitaryware — reduces thermal expansion and firing shrinkage.
Aluminosilicate refractories for furnaces, kilns and crucible linings in the steel and glass industries.
Filler and coating pigment in low-grade paper — improves opacity and print quality at lower cost.
Agrochemical carrier for dusting insecticides and pesticide powders — inert and dispersive.
Granule coating for asphalt roofing shingles — provides weather resistance and UV reflection.
Filler in rubber compounds — platy structure improves tear strength and dimensional stability.
Mined pyrophyllite lumps — for in-house grinding by refractory and insulation manufacturers.
5-20mm chips — kiln feed for specialty refractories and oriental-style ceramic bodies.
Coarsely ground grade — refractory batch, construction fillers, and general-purpose dispersions.
Standard industrial grade — ceramics, agrochemical carriers, paper fillers, roofing granule.
Fine grade for premium ceramics, precision casting and specialty rubber compounding.
Al2O3 32%+ premium grade — low iron, low alkali — for aluminosilicate refractory brick manufacture.
Each batch tested for Al2O3, SiO2, Fe2O3, TiO2, Na2O+K2O, LOI and brightness. Refractory-grade parcels additionally tested for pyrometric cone equivalent (PCE) and apparent porosity.
Full technical data sheet and sample available on request for any application — free of charge within India.
28%+ on standard grade, 32%+ on refractory — no feedstock variability.
Fe2O3 below 0.8% — preserves whiteness in ceramic bodies and paper fillers.
Lump to 325 mesh — choose the grade that matches your process without buying whole catalog.
Pyrophyllite reduces firing shrinkage in ceramic bodies — critical for tile dimensional stability.
Owned-mine sourcing — no middle-trader margin, transparent price structure.
50-kg and 1-tonne packs available — matched to your plant's intake system.
